This blog started on a fellowship to Japan as a way to share my experiences with my community back home. It was revitalized as I traveled in Steinbeck's footsteps in the summer of 2011. It's now updated occasionally with items of interest. Look for infrequent posts about technology, libraries, schools, and whatever else catches my fancy.

Fun Factoid! Several weeks ago a new Stitch TV show was introduced in Japan. The show moves Stitch to Japan (Okinawa), and Lilo, a Hawaiian girl, becomes Yuna, a Japanese girl. Maybe that helps explain the Stitch mania, or maybe the mania led to the TV show. --chicken, egg; chicken, egg; chicken, egg--
If they had Stitch's Great Escape, maybe he wouldn't be quite so popular.
Stitch?? I didn't see that one coming. However, my dad said he re-watched "Lilo and Stitch" last week and upgraded it from "bad" to "tolerable," so maybe it has its merits.
Not my favorite either...
sad for the end of hand animation
